Online Channel for B2B Clients
The Client
An online grocery platform, supported by the company’s own channel; based in Italy.
The Problem
The company already provided a B2C service, but wanted to turn its online channel into a solution available also for B2B clients.
In this way, the different retailers present in the national market could have opened their own e-commerce, powered by the company’s technology.
The Solution
We conducted an assessment of all the company’s assets and we identified how to convert these assets into a white label product, in order to be used also by different retailers in the national market.
Then, we created an offering model, including the revenues and the cost structures, which could help the company propose the project to the B2B clients, and we supported the company in the description of the solution to the different brands.
We also developed a business plan model that let us value the profitability of the platform and compared different scenarios that analyzed either the possibility of B2B partnerships or the use of a more standard solution not supported by the assets of the company.
